Getting to the Sarntal Valley, Heart of South Tyrol
Our enchanting Val Sarentino/Sarntal Valley is located just 16 km from South Tyrol's regional capital, Bolzano, and as the largest municipality in the region in terms of area, is known as the "green lung of South Tyrol".
The Val Sarentino/Sarntal Valley can be accessed by car or public bus through a wildly romantic porphyry gorge. Be it by car, mountain bike or motorbike: from April to November the Alpenrose road, the Penser Joch, is open!
